Katie's Kep is the Official Knitting Pattern for the 2020 Shetland Wool Week designed by Wool Week Patron Wilma Malcolmson. Four different Colourways are suggested for the Free Downloadable Pattern, each using yarn from 4 different Shetland Island wool producers. Colourway 4 uses Spindrift yarn from Jamieson's of Shetland.
Because the yarn for the other 3 colourways is harder to get in North America, we have also produced yarn kits for these using substituted colours from the extensive Jamieson's palette. We have tried to match the colours used in the samples with the closest Jamieson shades. Note that these Colourways can be customized by changing colours to any of the 225 shades of Spindrift wool available. Just make a note in the comment section of the order form.
